If you're looking for the ultimate fireworks experience - Fireworks at the
Beach - here are the schedules and information for 4th of July celebrations at
the Delaware and Maryland beaches:
Rehoboth Beach
The fireworks display will be at 9:15 PM. Fireworks will be launched from
the shore and visible from the boardwalk and all along the beach. Music (before
and after the display) will be provided by The Funsters, who will be performing
on the bandstand.
Bethany Beach
Bethany's 4th of July festivities start early in the day with a parade at
noon, followed by a horse-shoe throwing contest at 2 PM (??), a performance by
the Warrior Spirit Band at 7:30, and a fireworks display at dusk. Click here for more information.
Ocean City
Ocean City visitors can watch 4th of July Fireworks over the beach or the
bay. There will be a free concert followed by fireworks on the boardwalk at
division street. Show starts at 8 PM. Or, you can head to Northside Park
(125th St - bayside) for the same thing at the same time.
I am fortunate to be close enough to walk to the Northside Park
festivities, so that's where I will tote my chair and cooler. Happy 4th and
